Accommodation
This
country Hotel of immense character offers extremely spacious,
well-equipped accommodation. The 15th Century structure
has undergone modernisation and refurbishment over the years
but this has been done in a sympathetic way in order to
complement its original features. Central heating means
that the Hotel is warm and cosy throughout, enhanced by
the presence of log fires in each of main sitting rooms
on the coldest winter days. Overall it gives a traditional
yet comfortable environment in which to relax.
The
Hotel provides a variety of pleasant places for our guests
to take the weight off their feet.
The
Reception Area
A warm welcome awaits you in our Reception Area. With natural
stone fireplaces and comfy seating, it's the ideal place
to unwind on arrival at the Hotel. A range of bottled beers,
wines, spirits, liqueurs and non-alcoholic drinks, including
coffee, is served from our small bar. From here a small

The
Residents' Sitting Room
There is a delightful limed oak-panelled sitting room for
exclusive use of Hotel guests. Sun streams in through windows
on both sides of the room making it a bright and sunny place,
exuding warmth and charm. It's a quiet retreat - and the
perfect place to relax with a book or enjoy the south-facing
view of the garden.
The
Residents' TV Lounge
Televisions do not feature in the guest bedrooms but, for
those suffering withdrawal symptoms, one television set
can be found in a separate sitting room downstairs. A wealth
of exposed timber and stonework and a large fireplace lend
a strong rural character to this room, which also gives
access outdoors to...
The
Garden
A large south-facing garden, mainly laid to lawn and dotted
with occasional flowerbeds and borders, stretches down to
a small brook running alongside the Hotel. This is an attractive
setting for a peaceful rest in the sun and can be viewed
from many rooms in the Hotel.

Bedrooms
The
Hotel offers seven modernised, immaculately clean bedrooms,
retaining elements of their original character, which add
to their charm.
All
rooms have an en-suite bath or shower room or a private
bathroom.
A
choice of twin-bedded or double rooms is available. The
Tariff is for double occupancy.

Family
rooms, including a cot and extra beds, may also be available
on request.
Television
sets are not available in the guest bedrooms but, for those
suffering withdrawal symptoms, there is a Residents' TV
Lounge available downstairs.

Car
parking
There
are car parks both to the front and rear of the hotel. To
the front is a parking area for five to six cars with a
cobbled forecourt and steps leading up to the main entrance.
At the rear is a large off road private parking area, which
is accessible from a side road and holds up to thirty cars.
